Version 5 Video Security and Monitoring Software - full version by Perspective Software is a Surveillance, Monitoring and Video Capture software supporting up to 64 cameras (Webcams, camcorders, network IP cams, analog cards, or your PC desktop).

Captures JPEG snapshots or movies in standard AVI, advanced DVR, or leading-edge Windows Media file formats.
Video Security. Keep an eye on your home, place of business, cars, and valuables; watch your pets or your kids; monitor your nanny, babysitter, or employees.

Watch your door for mail, packages or visitors. Use motion detection, audio detection, or capture continuously. Receive alerts via loudspeaker, e-mail, instant messaging, or phone. Web cam. Overlay text and graphics. Use the built-in Web server, or post to a Web site. Webcast using MPEG ActiveX, JAVA, or Windows Media.
Stores recorded videos to hard drive, both local or network, automatic data migration from new capture directory to stored directories. Automatically recycles the HD space based on rule engine.

Mobile Access

Besides the built in mobile web site that Blue Iris comes with (web server), we also have mobile apps so you can bring your Blue Iris with you, anywhere! Our applications are available on Android and iOS. The features include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage multiple Blue Iris installations.
  • Control the traffic signal icon, schedule and profile selection.
  • Receive push alerts when a Blue Iris camera is triggered or there is a critical status message.
  • Fast H.264 streaming.
  • Control PTZ, IR and more for any camera that’s also controllable at the Blue Iris PC.
  • Listen to and talk to any camera that’s also supported at the Blue Iris PC.
  • Navigate cameras by tapping and swiping.
  • Review recordings as stored on the Blue Iris PC, up to 64x speed.

Video Security Features

  • Use motion or audio sensing to trigger recording, or record continuously or periodically.
  • Overlay the current date/time as well as a logo or other information.
  • Optionally record audio.
  • Use a timer to determine when the system is armed.
  • Images may be captured as either JPEG images, MPEG movies or Windows Media movies (full version).

Only purchased today. But the features of this software seem excellent. Be aware that if you want the specialised ipad or android app it's an extra cost but it does work with a standard safari browser. Customer service from ipcam-central excellent. The registration code didn't come through. Resolved within the hour after emailing.

Blue Iris software, is great. Although I'm still checking it out so far so good.
I received the installation from David, and he is outstanding. He takes time to ensure all is working good and
go's above and beyond what you would normally expect from tech support.

I had other installations done from Ipcam-centeral, and again the tech support is great.
I would definitely recommend Ipcam-centeral
